Middle year program is challenging framework that encourages students to make practical connections between their studies and real world. It offers a continuous education through Grade 6, 7 and 8. Middle years is the most comprehensive and unique, thus preparing learners for International Examinations.
Middle years Education framework comprises eight subject groups, providing a wide and balanced education for early adolescents. Based on curriculum of English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Islamiat, and Urdu. This program aims to stimulate the minds of learners to prepare for the challenging study years ahead. Exposure and engagement during these ages, give learners an indispensable intellectual tool kit.
Middle year program is inclusive by design, students of all interests and academic abilities can benefit from their participation. Middle Year curriculum is characterized by three fundamental concepts, Communication, Holistic learning and intercultural awareness.
It involves active skills-based learning, and promoting self-reflection and the opportunity for students to make sense of their learning. We prepare students for the next stage of their learning and for future work opportunities. This curriculum allows for single subject teaching and learning whilst facilitating. Collaboration around a big idea, linking all subject learning to a conceptual theme.
