Academics Overview
At KN Academy, we work on a scientific approach to education which is shaped around the individual needs of the child to develop their personality through a system that is focused on spontaneous use of the human intellect.
We believe that children are proficient and competent to build deep understandings when they learn through all senses and are offered choices in their learning experiences according to their desire.
Children learn best through the 5 E’s Instructional Model based on constructivist approach to learning. Each of the 5Es describes a phase of learning, and each phase begins with the letter “E” i.e. Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate. The 5Es allow students and teachers to experience common activities, to use and build on prior knowledge and experience, to construct meaning, and to continually assess their understanding of a concept.
Our Curriculum Philosophy
KN Academy induces Pre-Primary Education starting from Key Stage I.
Based upon five development areas that focus on the skills, knowledge and experience appropriate for young children; as they learn and develop the following skills.
- Mathematical Development
- Language Development
- Sensorial Development
- EPL Development
- Cultural Development
It regulates school examinations under the British Curriculum and offers qualifications for schools on the international and regional scale. We follow awarding organizations offering academic and vocational qualifications in schools, colleges and work places internationally.
